Finally time for departure. A trip for 7 hours is about to begin to Chicago where we transfer in order to reach Los Angeles. Before starting the trip we had a good meal because as we knew AA when we went to New York, the food is not really the best. Too greasy and no service with a smile.
Onces we were in the air, the earphones were not working and the request in receiving new onces were not heard. Small television where you were in need to have binoculars in order to follow the movie was another negative point. As we were pretty tired we slept the rest of the way.
Arrived in Chicago on time but still had another 4 hr to go before reaching Los Angeles. This small break felt good. Stretching our legs and having a bite to eat in order to recharge our batteries.
Passing security where you need to give a fingerprint in order to confirm your identity. Much different from the European way when they just check your passport.
All done and heading off to Los Angeles...
4hr later....
Finally Arrived in Los Angeles where we easily found a shuttle services which dropped us off just in front of our youth hostel. (very handy though and only was 15$ p/p)

Prices very good for backpackers or persons travelling on specific budget.
Situated just inches away from the beach. Although it is a very known touristic place, i would not consider to go out and walk along the promenade alone at night. Loads of homeless people and tons of drug dealers... Quickly went for some food and then straight to bed. Enough travelling for our first day, Tomorrow bright and early .....
